qemud

qemud  is a wrapper to start registered virtual machines (guests) if the host starts. It starts all guest with  AUTOSTART=ON . Vice versa  qemud  does stop all running registered virtual machines (guests) if the host system goes down. It is designed to easily integrate in existing init systems.

Synopsis:     qemud [ start | stop | status ]

Usually  qemud  will be invoked manually with the status option only:

$> qemud status

qemud  can delay the start of a virtual machine with the option  BOOTDELAY  from the  <name>-qemu.rc  config file. See  man 5 qemu-init  for details.
